Sunday 12th January - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny and cold.

The cold spell continues, this January is looking like the first month I haven’t windsurfed for several years with light wind and low temperatures set for many days:( Being the weekend we have no plans so had a relaxing day, I posted yesterdays photos , breakfast and exercises then after a quick lunch we set off on our daily walk. After picking up a jig-saw puzzle from the libraury we continued past Harvest house to the prom at the Fludyers, with very light winds the sea was flat with the sun slowly sinking towards the docks. We set off to turn by the large breakwater and bumped into a couple of friends, stopping for a nice chat. Then back up the pram walk to Argos to collect a new cat flap and home. I then drove down to Felixstowe Ferry to catch the sunset which was not great but the Deben was like a mirror so got some nice pics of the reflections of the fishing boats and the nearly full moon looked good too! Home for a warming cuppa and hot water bottle, nice weekend:)
